March Meets 'Kimmy' the Maker

It's #MarchMeetTheMaker month ~ Meet Kimmy - our full-time G-Unique Jewellery Designer.

Kimmy, born and raised on St Helena Island, joined our team in Sep 2016 as an Apprentice after leaving school, where she learnt the basics of beaded jewellery making with earrings being amongst her first creations.

Since then, her skills and dedication has meant that she is now a full-time Jewellery Designer at G-Unique.

You will find Kimmy at the Studio helping to keep the G-Unique Boutique well-stocked, as well as keeping on top of customer orders...all whilst maintaining some fabulous nails featuring her own nail art. Definitely a creative girl.

Oh and did I mention that when she's not working at G-Unique; she's St Helena's most popular DJ? Designer by day, DJ by night. There's definitely perks to having a resident DJ working at the Studio, the tunes keep us motivated throughout the day.

Kimmy is a great asset to the G-Unique team and is an absolute whizz-kid at creating beaded bracelets. She is also the main force behind keeping the Sankofa bracelet Collection in stock which requires a great deal of patience (more on this collection shortly). Something Kimmy seems to have in abundance...thanks Kimmy for helping to keep the G-Unique wheels turning.

Oh, I should also mention that she's the queen of group selfies and is a force to be reckoned with with that selfie stick of hers :-)
