International Women's Day - a collaboration on St Helena
As we celebrated #internationalwomensday this week - I was reminded of our first female Governor who is currently serving our island. This is a great milestone for St Helena as it shows that any position can be held by a woman.
Since her time on the island started in 2016, Her Excellency has shown her keenness to support and encourage women across the island.
In Feb 2018, Her Excellency actually launched the 'Island Fusion' pendant necklace ~ the result of a creative collaboration between G-Unique Boutique with two fantastic women singer songwriters KUDOS. She also holds the first pendant from this limited Edition
Isn't the world a much better place when women come together to collaborate and support each other 😊 Thanks to KUDOS for working with us.
Speaking of supportive women...met my fantastic Mum who has always been my number one supporter (kind of comes in the Mum job description). She's where I get my creativity gene from...
p.s. at the time of this posting we only have one Island Fusion pendant left in our online store (distributed from UK) ~ we have a few more leaving St Helena to make the journey up to the UK which will take a week or two to arrive for UK distribution.
